Clinical Supervision

I am trained as a Clinical Social Worker and received my MSW from the University of Maryland School of Social Work in 2017. I am a board approved supervisor in Washington State.

In my experience, I have worked to form a framework that encourages uniqueness and patience with my clients. I approach supervision with a similar framework: to help my supervisees grow in their careers, and provide space to develop new skills in a relational space. My primary framework centers around Relationally Focused Psychodynamic Therapy, CBT, motivational interviewing, and inner child work. I work with people experiencing anxiety, multicultural trauma, transitions, and grief. I want to guide an understanding of the therapeutic relationship and how this relationship can create a space of healing, growth, and boundary-setting for new clinicians. I focus on creating a supervisory relationship that is warm, connected, and honest, in a space that honors your therapeutic style and supports your growth as a clinician. I am also a BIPOC clinician who wants to pursue conversations around tearing down barriers of access for clients of color, and explore culture of origin and issues around minority groups and mental health. I want to help guide other clinicians into curiosity and appreciation in themselves.
